Answer: sum of alt. int. angles is 180

= [ y - 5 ] + [ 2y - 4 ] = 180

= y - 5 + 2y  - 4 = 180

= 3y - 9 = 180

= 3y = 180 + 9

= 3y = 189

= y = 189/3

= y = 63

substituting value of y in 2y - 4

= 2 x 63 - 4

= 126 - 4

= 122 = x [ corresponding angles ]

x = 122 , y = 63

 \mathcal \purple {{SOL:-}}

(y - 5) + (2y - 4) = 180° ......interior angle

y - 5 + 2y - 4 = 180

3y - 9 = 180

3y = 180 + 9

3y = 189

y = 63

substituting in (2y - 4)°

-> 2 × 63 - 4 = 122°

x = 122° ......corresponding angle
