Given :-

The first angle = (5x-30)

The second angle = (2x)

To Find :-

The first angle.

The second angle.

Analysis :-

Firstly, we've to find the value of the variable.

Make an equation accordingly such that the two angles added up equal to the sum of supplementary angle.

Once you find the value of the variable substitute it in the angles given.

Now you can find the two supplementary angles easily.

Solution :-

We know that,

Sum of supplementary angles = 180°

Given that,

The first angle = (5x-30)

The second angle = (2x)

Making an equation,

(5x-30) + (2x) = 180

5x + 2x = 180 + 30

5x + 2x = 210

7x = 210

By transposing,

x = 210/7

x = 30

Finding the angles,

5x-30 = (5 × 30) - 30

= 150 - 30 = 120°

2x = 2 × 30

= 60°

Therefore, the two angles are 120° and 60°.
