Answer:

^( x - 7 ) × 5^( x - 4 ) = 12501250 = 2 × 5 × 5 × 5 × 52^( x ... 4 ) = 2^1 × 5^4 So, x - 7 = 1 x = 7 + 1 or x = 8Orx - 4 = 4x = 4 + 4 or… ... Hence, value of ...

Answer -

» Given :

(2x -7)(5x-4) = 1250

» Solution:

first we will multiply the terms

2x(5x-4)-7(5x-4) = 1250

10x² -8x -35x +28 = 1250

10x² - 43x +28 -1250 = 0

10x² -43x -1222 = 0

» We know that,

Quadratic formula -

when, ax²+bx+c = 0

then,

{\small{\boxed{\boxed{\pink{x = \frac{ -b \pm \sqrt{b^2 - 4ac}} {2a}}}}}}

in our case,

a = 10

b = -43

c = -1222

by putting the values

x =

\frac{43 \pm \sqrt{ (-43)^2 -4(10 × -1222)}}{2\times 10} \\ \\ \\= \frac{43 \pm \sqrt{50729}} {20}\\ \\ \\ = \frac{43\pm 225.2}{20}\\ \\ \\ \therefore\: x = \\ \\ \\ \frac{268.2}{20} = 13.41 \\ \\ \\ or \\ \\ \\ \frac{-182.2}{20} = -9.11

{\pink{\boxed{\therefore\: x = 13.41, -9.11}}}
