Anything raised to power 0 is 1
hence
sin( 2x + 1) = 1
1= sin pi/2
therefore
sin (2x + 1)=sin pi/2
so
2x+1 = pi/2
2x = pi/2 - 1
Take LCM
2x = (pi-2)/2
x= (pi-2)/4
in degrers
2x+1=90
2x=89
x=89/2 degrees
Remember these are only the principal solutions
that is these are solutions in defined range of 0 to 360 degrees or 1rotation
There are actually INFINITE solutions for X Which can be given by a general equation of sin
hence
sin( 2x + 1) = 1
1= sin pi/2
therefore
sin (2x + 1)=sin pi/2
so
2x+1 = pi/2
2x = pi/2 - 1
