Given :

Straight line

means sum of angles = 180°

  \\ \large \sf \star \: \: linear \: \: pair : \\

Sum of angles along a straight line = 180°

Solving

  • 1 angle = 5x

  • 2 angle = 4x

 \\ \large \implies \tt \: 5x + 4x = 180 \degree \\ \\ \large \implies \tt \: 9x = 180 \degree \\ \\ \large \tt \implies \: x = \frac{180 \degree}{9} \\ \\ \large \boxed{ \sf \therefore \: \: x = 20 \degree} \\

Here we got ,

  • Value of 'x'

  \\ \large \sf \star \: \underline{angles \: } : \\

  • 5x = 5(20) = 100°

  • 4x = 4(20) = 80°

  \\ \large \sf \star \: \underline{check} : \\

Property of linear pair -

 \\ \large \implies \tt \: 5x + 4x = 180 \degree \\ \\ \large \implies \tt \: 100 \degree + 80 \degree = 180 \degree \\ \\ \large \tt \implies \: 180 \degree = 180 \degree \\
