x( 1 / [2a+b+2x] ) - (1 / 2x ) = (1/2a) + (1/b)

a) + (1/b)=> { x - [2a+b+2x] } / ([2a+b+2x] × 2x ) = {2a+b} / 2ab

ab=> - { 2a+b} / ( [2a+b+2x] ×2x ) = { 2a+b} / 2ab

ab=> -1 / ( [2a+b+2x] × 2x ) = 1 / 2ab

On Cross Multiplication :

-2ab = [ 2a+b+2x] × 2x

xOn Simplification :

4x²+ (2a+b) 2x + 2ab = 0

➙ 2x²+ (2a+b)x + ab = 0

Applying the Splitting the middle term method :

2x²+ 2ax+bx + ab = 0

➙ 2x( x + a) + b(x + a) = 0

➙ ( 2x + b) ( x + a) = 0

Therefore Either (x+a) = 0 or (2x+b) = 0

Which leads to x = -a or x = -b/2
