Find the value of x+y if 5^x-3×3^2y-7=675

5^(x-3)x3^(2y - 7) =675
Now factorize 675 = 5x5x3x3x3 = 5² x 3³

5^(x-3) x 3^(2y-7) = 5² x 3³

comparing both sides

x-3 = 2⇒ x = 5              and   2y -7 = 3 ⇒ 2y = 10 ⇒ y = 5
