3x + 4y =11  .......1

4x+3y=10 ..........2

subtract equation 1 from 2

(4-3)x-(3-4)y=10-11

x-y=-1

Given :

3x+4y=11 and 4x.+3y=10

To Find :

find the value of x-y

Solution:

Equation 1 : 3x+4y=11

Equation 2 : 4x+3y=10

Plot the lines on graph

Equation 1 : 3x+4y=11 -- Black

Equation 2 : 4x+3y=10 --- Red

Intersection point will give the solution

Intersection point =(1,2)

So, x = 1 and y =2

x-y=1-2=-1

Hence The value of x-y is -1
