So..what I did was that..

firstly the exterior angle measuring 100° and the angle adjacent to it forms a linear pair..

We know..In a linear pair , the sum of the adjacent angles are 180°

hence the other angle is 80°(by subtracting 100° from 180°)

Now in the quadrilateral..we know sum of all the angles is 360°

hence,

120°+80°+80°+x°=360°

=>280°+x°=360°

=>x°=360°- 280°

=>x°=80°
