we know that the lines are parallel so x+y=180°

x/y=3/7=> x=3y/7

3y/7+y=180°

I will not tell the whole answer.

now Find y and then subtract it from 180° to get x.

now,

y=z (alternate exterior angles)

so the value you got for 'y' is same for 'z'.
