Find the value(s) of m for which the quadratic equation mx²
– mx+4 = 0 has
equal roots.

Answer:

mx(6x+10)+25=0

6mx2+10mx+25=0

Roots are equal so D=0

{10m}2−4.25(6m)=0

m2−6m=0

m(m−6)=0

∴m=6
