poojakumaresh26: how does 3/√3 divide can u please explain
harshraj2717: I have rationalised it
poojakumaresh26: Is it by √3*√3 /√3 thn by canceling we get√3
harshraj2717: no...its 3 / ✓3 * ✓3 / ✓3 = 3✓3 / 3 and then by cancelling 3 we get ✓3
poojakumaresh26: ohk
Vaiarathe: Your way of saying: 3/√3 = (√3 × √3) / √3 = √3 ... By cancelling, we get √3. This is correct. No need to rationalize any further
Vaiarathe: Your way is correct@pooja
Vaiarathe: Actually, both way are correct. Pooja's way is faster
poojakumaresh26: thnx for the clarification

Here, you have divided both sides by √3. But the mistake is you forgot to divide 3 by √3.

 \sqrt{3}  \tan(2x)  - 3 = 0

Now add 3 to both sides,
 \sqrt{3}  \tan(2x)  - 3 + 3 = 0 + 3 \\  \\  \sqrt{3}  \tan(2x) =  3

Now divide both sides by √3
 \frac{ \sqrt{3}  \tan(2x)}{ \sqrt{3} }   =  \frac{3}{ \sqrt{3} }  \\  \\  \tan(2x)  =  \sqrt{3}

Now compare the angle,
 \tan(2x)  =  \tan(60)

thus \:  \: 2x = 60 \\  \\ x = 30

thus the angle is 30°
