Step-by-step explanation:

Case-1:

If 2 is the zero of x³+ax²+bx-30=0

=>(2)³+a(2)²+b(2)-30=0

=>(4a+2b=22)÷2

=>(2a+b=11)×3

=>6a+3b=33---(1)

Case-2:

If 3 is the zero of x³+ax²+bx-30=0.

=>(3)³+a(3)²+b(3)-30=0

=>9a+3b=3----(2)

By elimination method:

6a+3b-(9a+3b)=33-3

6a+3b-9a-3b=30

-3a=30

a=30/-3=-10.-------(3)

(3) in (2)

9a+3b=3

9(-10)+3b=3

-90+3b=3

3b=3+90=93

b=93/3=31.

The values of a and b are -10 and 31.
