= √3-1 × 1/ √3+1

= √3-1/√3+1

= (√3-1 ) × (√3-1)

(a-b) (a-b) = (a-b)² ]

= 3+1-2√3 / 3-1

= 4 - 2√3 /2

a+ b√3 = 2-√3

a= 2 , b = -1
