If the roots of given quadratic equation is zero then;
D = discriminant = b^2 -4ac = 0

in given equation ;
a = s
b= k
c= 3

hence,
k^2 - 4×s×3 = 0
k^2 = 12s
k = √12s
k = (2√3) s
