Answer:

(I) exterior angle of a triangle = sum of opposite interior angles.

Therefore , 120 = 50°+x

x = 70°

Therefore y = 60°

(ii) Angles on a line = 180°

Therefore , 7y+5y = 180°

12y=180°

y= 15°

Sum of Angles in a triangle = 180°

5y+3y+x= 180°

8y+x=180°

8(15)+x = 180

x=180°-120°

x=60°
