Answer:

value of x, y and z =

130°

Step-by-step explanation:

It is a parallelogram.

And the angles of face to face of the parallelogram are always equal....(i)

The sum of all angles of a parallelogram is 360 degrees....(ii)

So we will take another angle (w) ( see above attachment) here.

so

according to theorem (i) x = y and w = 50°...(iii)

x + y + w + 50° = 360° ( according to theorem ii)

=> 2x + 2(50°)* = 360° (* according to theorem iii)

=> 2x + 100° = 360°

=> 2x = 360°-100°

=> 2x = 260°

=> x = 260°÷2

=> x = 130°

y =* x = 130° (* according to theorem iii)

z and w are making a linear pair

means z + w = 180°

w = 50° (according to theorem iii)

so

=> z + 50° = 180°

=> z = 180°-50°

=> z = 130°

so value of x = 130°, y = 130°, z = 130°.

it is the long way to solve this. I solved it in long way only to explain you.

hope it helps.
