To Find: Value of ;  \cot( -  \frac{15\pi}{4} )

.

Solution

⇒ \cot( - (3\pi  +  \frac{3\pi}{4} ))

⇒  -  \cot(  \frac{3\pi}{4} )

.

As, π radians = 180°

⇒ \cot( \frac{3\pi}{4} ) =   -  \cot(135°)

o r \:  \:  -  \cot(90° + 45°)

⇒ +  \tan(45°)

.

[∵ tan 45°=1]

.

⇒ \cot( -  \frac{15\pi}{4} )  = 1
