y = 180° - 120° ( Angles on a straight line add up to 180° )

y = 60°

x + 50° + 60° = 180° ( Angle Sum Property )

or, x = 180° - 110°

x = 70°

\bold{\underline {Answer:-}}

x = 70°

y = 60°

\bold{\underline{Step-by-step\: explanation:-}}

Value of y

120° + y = 180° [ linear pair ]

y = 120° - 180°

y = 60°

_________________

Value of x

x + y + 50° = 180° [ the sum of all angles of a triangle is 180° ]

y = 60°

So , x + 60° + 50° + = 180°

x = 110° - 180°

x = 70°
