x + x/2 =180(linear pair)

2x + x /2 =180

2x+x = 180×2

2x+x = 360

3x = 360

x = 360/3

x=120

Now x=z ( vertically opposite angle )

Z= 120

so x/2 = 120/2=60

Now x/2 = y

60=y
