Answer:

3x + 4y = 11 — [ 1 eq. ]

4x + 3 y = 10 — [ 2 eq. ]

By Elimination Method

Multiply 1 eq. by '4'

4 ( 3x + 4y = 11)

12x + 16y = 44 — [ 3 eq. ]

Multiply 2 eq. by '3'

3 ( 4x + 3y = 10 )

12x + 9y = 30 — [ 4eq.]

Subtract 4 from 3 eq.

12x + 16y = 44

12x + 9y = 30

-___-____-______

7y = 1 4

y = 14/7

y = 2

put y =2 in 4 eq.

12x + 9(2) = 30

12x + 18 = 30

12x = 30 - 18

12x = 12

x = 12/12

x=1

So,

(x+y) =( 1+2 )

= 3 Ans...

plz thnks... if it is helpful☺
