by the formula
v=f *lambda
so f= 1/t
f=1/10
wavelength=1.5m
v=1/10*1.5
v=0.15m/s

The velocity of the wave is 0.15 m/s.

Explanation:

We know that,

The distance between two consecutive crest and trough is called wavelength. Here, \lambda=1.5\ m

Time taken by the wave to complete one cycle is called time period of the wave, here, T = 10 s

If f is the frequency. It is given by :

f=\dfrac{1}{T}

f=\dfrac{1}{10}

f = 0.1 Hz

Let v is the velocity of the wave. It is given by :

v = f λ

So, v=0.1\ Hz\times 1.5\ m

v = 0.15 m/s

So, the velocity of the wave is 0.15 m/s.
