the object experiences a buoyant force when immersed in the water which is equal to 2N

TheCuprox: how??
prjnk: thw weight in water is less than the weight in air. the difference is by 2N. so it is understood that some force is acting in the opposite direction of the weight of the body.
prjnk: this force is the force exerted by the water, known as buoyant force. We got it's magnitude=2N as 30N-28N=2N
prjnk: hope this helps you :)
