Given :    I1=2 A           

As no current flows between x and y,  thus   Vxy=Vx−Vy=−5 V  (1)

Using Kirchhoff loop law in Box 2 :       −30+(4+6)I2=0          ⟹I2=3 A

Also    Vy−Vb=4I2=4×3=12 V                 2)

Box 1 :       Va−Vx=−2×5=−10  V             (3)

Adding  (2) and (3) we get     Va−(Vx−Vy)−Vb=2

∴    Va−Vb+5=2                ⟹Va−Vb=Vab=−3 V

At first we used Kirchoff's current law to find I1 and I2

Later we used voltage dividing rule to find out voltage drop across A and B
