 \large \tt AHOY!! \:

given the base area of the cylinder = 154cm²

we know that the base of a cylinder is circular and the formula for the area of a circle is πr²

therefore πr² = 154cm²

=> 22/7 × r² = 154cm²

=> r² = 154/1 × 7/22

=> r² = 7 × 7

=> r² = 49

=> r = √49

=> r = 7cm

hence, radius of the cylinder is 7cm.

given height of the cylinder = 8cm

therefore volume of the cylinder = πr²h

= 22/7 × 7 × 7 × 8

= 22 × 7 × 8

= 1232cm³

hey

area of base = πr^2

πr^2 = 154
22/7×r^2 = 154
r^2 = 154×7/22
r^2 = 49
r = √49
r= 7

volume of cylinder=πr^2h
=22/7 ×7×7×8
=154×8
=1232 cm ^3

hope helped
