Hey mate!

Here is your answer > >

Diameter of cylinder=7 cm

Radius of cylinder=7/2=3.5 cm

Height of cylinder=60 cm

Volume of cylinder = pie r^2 h

=> Volume of cylinder=22/7×3.5×3.5×60

=2310 cm^3

We know that

1 Litre^3=1000 cm^3

1000 cm^3=1 Litre

1cm^3=1/1000 litre

So, 2310 cm^3=2310/1000 Litre=2.31 Litres

=> Capacity of cylinder in litres=2.31 Litres

Hope it helps!

Answer :

  • Volume of cylinder = 2310 cm³

  • Capacity of cylinder = 2.31 litre

Given :

Diameter = 7 cm

Height = 60 cm

To find :

The volume of cylinder and the capacity of cylinder = ?

Step-by-step explanation :

Here,

Diameter = 7 cm

∴ Radius = Diameter /2 = 7/2 = 3.5 cm

Height = 60 cm

Now,

We will find the volume of cylinder,

So, Volume of cylinder = Πr²h

Substituting the values in the above formula, we get

= 22/7 × 3.5 × 3.5 × 60

= 22 × .5 × 3.5 × 140

= 2310 cm³

Thus, Volume of cylinder = 2310 cm³.

Now,

Capacity of cylinder in liters,

1000 cm³ = 1l³

2310 cm³ = 2310/1000

= 2.31 l

Hence, the capacity of the cylinder = 2.31 litres
