Concept:

Volume can be defined  as space occupied by an object

Volume of a cone=1/3πr²h

where. r= radius of the base

            h= height of the cone

Given:

h=3.5ft

d=11.9ft

Find:

The volume of cone=?

Solution:

d=11.9ft

r=d/2

 = 11.9/2

 =5.95ft

Volume of a cone=1/3πr²h

                               =1/3π(5.95)²x3.5 ft

                                =129.75ft³

                                 ≈130ft³

Therefore, The volume of a cone is approximately 130ft³
