the volume of a sphere whose diameter is:

(i) 14 cm  = 1437.3 cm^3

(ii) 3.5 dm  = 22.458 dm^3

(iii) 2.1 m = 4.851 dm^3

The volume of a sphere = 4/3πr^3

Given,

(i) 14 cm

d = 14 cm ⇒ r = d/2 = 14/2 ⇒r = 7 cm

The volume of a sphere = 4/3 × 22/7 × 7^3

Therefore, the volume of the sphere is = 1437.3 cm^3

(ii) 3.5 dm

d = 3.5 dm ⇒ r = d/2 = 3.5/2 ⇒r = 1.75 dm

The volume of a sphere = 4/3 × 22/7 × 1.75^3

Therefore, the volume of the sphere is = 22.458 dm^3

(iii) 2.1 m

d = 2.1 m ⇒ r = d/2 = 2.1/2 ⇒r = 1.05 dm

The volume of a sphere = 4/3 × 22/7 × 1.05^3

Therefore, the volume of the sphere is = 4.851 dm^3
