Given:-
- Solid hemisphere each of radius 10 cm.
To find:-
- Find the total surface area of a hemisphere.?
Solutions:-
- Radius of the hemisphere = 10cm
Now,
The total surface area of a hemisphere = 2πr²
= 2(3.14) (10)²
= 6.28 × 100
= 628cm²
The total surface area of the hemisphere is 628cm²
Also,
The total surface area of the solid hemisphere
= 2πr² + πr²
= 2(3.14)(10)² + (3.14)(10)²
= 2 × 3.14 × 100 + 3.14 × 100
= 6.28 × 100 + 314
= 628 + 314
= 942cm²
Hence, the total surface area of the hemisphere is 942cm².
Some Important:-
- The surface area of a sphere = 4πr²
- The curved surface area of hemisphere = 2πr²
- The total surface area of hemisphere = 3πr²
- The volume of the sphere = 4/3 πr²
- The volume of the hemisphere = 2/3 πr²
