Answer:

38.808 cm³

Step-by-step explanation:

Given---> Surface area of sphere = 55.44 cm²

To find ---> Volume of sphere

Solution----> Let radius of sphere be r

We know that,

Surface area of sphere = 4 π r²

Where r is radius of sphere,

=> 55.44 = 4 π r²

=> 55.44 = 4 π r²

=> 55.44 = 4 × ( 22 / 7 ) r²

=> r² = 55.44 × 7 / 4 × 22

=> r² = 5544 × 7 / 4 × 2200

=> r² = 504 × 7 / 4 × 200

=> r² = 9 × 7 × 7 / 100

=> r² = 3² × 7² / 10²

=> r² = ( 3 × 7 / 10 )²

Taking square root of both sides , we get,

=> r = 3 × 7 / 10

=> r = 2.1 cm

Now , Volume of sphere = 4 / 3 π r³

= ( 4 / 3 ) × ( 22 / 7 ) ( 2.1 )³

= 8.8 × 4.41

= 38.808 cm³
