Given -

  • Base radius(r) of the cone = 3cm
  • Height (h) of the cone = 14cm

To find -

  • The volume of the cone

Solution -

We know that,

Volume \: of \: the \: cone = \frac{1}{3} \pi {r}^{2} h

By putting the values we will get -

Volume \: of \: cone = \frac{1}{3} \times \frac{22}{7} \times {(3)}^{2} \times 14

Volume \: of \: the \: cone = \frac{1}{3} \times \frac{22}{7} \times 9 \times 14

Volume \: of \: the \: cone = 132

Therefore the volume of the cone is 132 cm³

Related Formulae -

1)Volume \: of \: cone = \frac{1}{3} \pi {r}^{2} h

2)C. S. A\: of \: cone = \pi \: rl

3)T. S. A\: of \: cone = \pi \: r(l + r)
