Given :     prism with trapezium base

To Find :  Volume

Solution:

Volume of  Triangular prism  = ( base area of trapezium ) * ( length of prism )

area of trapezium  = (1/2) * ( sum of parallel sides)  * height

base area of trapezium  = (1/2) *( 6 + 4) * 4 = 20   sq ft

 Length  = 9 ft

Volume of  Trapezium prism  = 20 * 9  

=180  cubic feet
