find the volume the total surface area and lateral surface of a cuboid which is 8m long 6M broad and 3.5 high

Length or cuboid = 8 m



Width of broad = 6 m


And,


Height of cuboid = 3.5 m



Therefore,


Volume of cuboid = Length × Breadth × Height = 8 × 6 × 3.5 = 168 m³.



Curved Surface area of cuboid = 2 ( l+ b ) × H = 2 ( 8 + 6 ) × 3.5 = 98 m².


And,

Total surface area of cuboid = 2(lb + bh + hl) = 2 ( 8 * 6 + 6* 3.5 + 3.5 * 8 )


2 ( 48 + 21 + 28 ) m².


=> 2 ( 97 ) m².



=> 194 m².

according to questions ,


in the question given the length of the cuboid 8 metre and breadth of the cuboid 6 metres and also height of the cuboid mentioned in the questions 3.5metre.


here we find ,

v of cuboid = ?

CSA of cuboid = ?

TSA of cuboid = ?

like ,
length = 8 m

breadth = 6 m

height = 3.5 m

then , we find volume of cuboid

here ,


v of cuboid = l × b × H
using formula,

v = l × b × H

v = 8 × 6 × 2.5

v = 168 m^3

again , we find c.s.a of cuboid

CSA of cuboid = 2 ( l + b ) h

using formula ,

2 ( l + b ) h

2 ( 8 + 6 ) 3.5 m2

2 ( 14 ) 3.5 m2

28 × 3.5 m2

 {98m}^{2}

now , we find TSA of the cuboid .

TSA of cuboid = 2 ( lb + bh + hl )

using formula

2 ( lb + bh + hl )

2 ( 8 × 6 + 6 × 3.5 + 3.5 × 8 )


2 ( 48 + 21 + 28)m2

2 ( 97) m2


= 194 m2



therefore, we find volume of cuboid equal to 168m3 and we find curved surface of cuboid 98 m2 . and also the total surface area of cuboid equal to 194m2.
