Given :-

Length of the cuboid = 15 m

Breadth of the cuboid = 12 m

Height of the cuboid = 4.5 m

To Find :-

The volume of the cuboid.

The total surface area of the cuboid.

The lateral surface area of the cuboid.

Formula Used :

volume of cuboid = l × b × h

  • l = length
  • b = breadth
  • h = height

Solution :-

Given that,

  • l = Length
  • b = Breadth
  • h = Height
  • TSA = Total Surface Area
  • LSA = Lateral Surface Area

By the formula,

\underline{\boxed{\sf Volume \ of \ cuboid=Length \times Breadth \times Height}}

Given that,

Length (l) = 15 m

Breadth (b) = 12 m

Height (h) = 4.5 m

Substituting their values,

Volume = 15 × 12 × 4.5

Volume = 810 m³

Therefore, the volume is 810 m³

By the formula,

\underline{\boxed{\sf Total \ surface \ area \ of \ cuboid=2(lb+bh+hl ) }}

Substituting their values,

TSA = 2 ( 15 × 12 + 12 × 4.5 + 4.5 × 15 )

TSA = 2 ( 301.5 )

TSA = 603 m²

Therefore, the total surface area is 603 m².

Formula Used :

Now :

According to the Formula :-

LSA = 2 ( l + b ) h

LSA = 2 ( 15 + 12 ) 4.5

LSA = 2 × 27 × 4.5

LSA = 243 m²

Therefore, the lateral surface area is 243 m².
