Question :-

Find the Volume, the Total Surface Area and the Lateral Surface area of a Cuboid which is 15 m Long, 12 m Wide and 4.5 m High.

Solution :-

Here, l = 15 m ; b = 12 m ; h = 4.5 m

-

Volume of the Cuboid = \bold {(l \times b \times h)\:cubic \:units}

Volume of the Cuboid = ( 15 * 12 * 4.5) m^3 = \bold {810\: m^3}

-

Total Surface Area of the Cuboid

= 2 (lb + bh + hl) sq. units

= 2 (15 * 12 + 12 * 4.5 + 15 * 4.5) m^2 = \bold {603\: m^2}

-

Lateral Surface Area of the Cuboid

= [2 (l + b) * h] sq. units

= [2 (15 + 12) * 4.5] m^2 = \bold {243\: m^2}
