The atomic mass of oxygen is =16gm.

Which is called 1 mole oxygen

According to avogadro's hypothesis there is exactly 6.023*10^23 particles(molecule,atom,electron,ion) in any 1 mole that substance.

So, therefore,

In 16 gm oxygen atom there are 6.023*10^23 atom

So, in 8 gm oxygen atom there is (6.023*10^23*8)/16 atom

Which is equal 3.0115*10^23.
