find the width of a cardboard, if it's area is 52sq. CM and it's length is 13cm.

Area =52 sq. cm
length=13 cm
breadth=area/length
=52/13=4 cm

let the width of the cardboard be 'b'
we know,
lengthxbreadth=area
•°• 13xb=52
=>b=52/13=4
•°•b=4cm
Thus width is 4cm
