Find the work done in increasing the speed of a car from 18 km/h to 36km/h.Given the mass of car is 1000th.

initial velocity = 5m/sec.
final velocity = 10m/sec
work done = change in KE
=
 \frac{1}{2} m( {v}^{2}  -  {u}^{2} )
 \frac{1}{2}   \times 1000 \times ( {10}^{2}  -  {5}^{2} )
=37500J
