X-y=80: - (eq 2)
Solving it simultaneously we get ;
2x=720;
X=360;
Putting x =360 in any of the equation we get ;

adding eq(i) and eq(ii) we get
x+y+x-y=640+80
2x=720
x=720/2
x=360
putting x=360 in eq(i) we get
x+y=640
360+y=640
y=640-360
y=280
