Heya

Given\:equation:2x^2+7x-4

 2x^2+7x-4=0

2x^2+8x-x-4=0

2x(x+4)-(x+4)=0

(2x-1)(x+4)=0

(2x-1)=0\:or\:(x-4)=0

x=\frac{1}{2}\:or\:x=-4
