4x^2 - 9 =0
4x^2 = 9
x^2 = 9 / 4
x = √9 / √4
x = + 3 / 2 or x = - 3 / 2

tanu66: can you do it by splitting the middle term
Anonymous: We can't do it by that method
Anonymous: There is no middle term here
Anonymous: This is the only method I think

hi

Quadratic equation 4x^2 - 9 = 0

( 2 x )^2 - 3^2 = 0

useing rhe identity

____________________________

a^2 - b^2 = ( a + b ) ( a - b )

____________________________

we get

( 2x + 3 ) ( 2x - 3) = 0

Therefore

2x + 3 = 0 or 2x - 3 = 0

2x = -3 or 2x = 3

x = (-3/ 2) or x = ( 3/2 )

Required zeroes of the given quadratic

equation are

( - 3/2 ) or ( 3/2)

i hope this will useful to u
