Step-by-step explanation:

p(x)=3x^2-x-4

taking the sum = -1

product = -12

(a=3 b= -1 c = -4)

therefor required no. are ( -4,3)

3x^2-4x+3x-4

taking the common

x(3x-4)+1(3x-4)

then (x+1)(3x-4)

therefore the required zeroes are

x+1=0

x= -1

3x-4=0

x=4/3

let first zero been -1 and second zero been 4/3

then the sum of zeroes = -1 + 4/3 = 1/3

-b/a= -(-1)/3

= 1/3

therefore sum of zeroes = -b/a

product of zeroes = -1*4/3

= -4/3

c/a = -4/3

therefore product of zeroes = c/a

hence verified
