Find the zeroes of the following quadratic polynomial 4s^2-4s-1 and verify the relationship betweeen the zeroes and coeffecient

the roots are 
s= \frac{-4+ \sqrt{16+16} }{8}= \frac{-1+ \sqrt{2} }{2}
s= \frac{-4- \sqrt{16+16} }{8}= \frac{-1- \sqrt{2} }{2}
if u add the both roots u get -1 =(-4)/(4) 
and multiply both u get -1/4   
Generally for any equation in the form of a x^{2} +bx+c=0
if it has roots m and n
then m+n= \frac{-b}{c},mn= \frac{c}{a}
