X^2+7x+12
=x^2+3x+4x+12

hey friend,

=) The given equation is :-

=) f(x) = x^2 +7x+12

for equation to have zero f(x) must me zero.

=) f(x) = 0

=) x^2 +7x+12=0

=) x^2 +3x + 4x + 12 =0

=) x(x+3) + 4(x+3) =0

=) (x+3)(x+4) =0

=) so , (x+3) =0 & (x+4) =0

=) x = -3 & x = -4

so required zeros are -3 & -4
