Give two reasons why well irrigation is more important in northern India than in southern India

Because the south part of India have sea or ocean around and have fertile soil....where as the north part of India have no sea and on oceans around their is mountain and soil is not fertile and that's why it need to be irrigate and when water loos the capacity of fertility than we have to irrigate soil.
