Answer:-

As per the question

x²+(1/6x)x-2=??

Equation

=6x²+x-12=0

=6x²+9x-8x-12=0

=3x(2x+3)-4(2x+3)=0

=(3x-4)(2x+3)=0

x=4/3 andx=-3/2

Quadratic polynomial

ax²+bx+c=0

Coefficient a,b and c with the roots (n,m)

m+n=-b/a

mn=c/a

Now,

m=4/3 n=-3/2

a=1,b=1/6 with c=-2

m+n=-1/6

-b/a=-1/6

m+n=-b/a

m x n=-2

c/a=-2

Therefore , m x n=c/a

Hi there !!

We can find zeros by various methods like

  • Factorisation
  • Quadratic formula (Done by this)
  • Completing the square

Zeros are -3/2 and 4/3

Look at the àttachment ↑↑

Thanks :)
