Answer:

3,-4

Step-by-step explanation:

Let p(x) -------> x² + x - 12

                     = x² + 4x - 3x - 12

                     = x(x+4) - 3(x+4)

                     = (x-3)(x+4)

Now, for zeroes of polynomial,

x-3 = 0, x+4 = 0

=> x = 3, x = -4

Now, let α = 3 and  β = -4 and in p(x); a= 1, b= 1 and c= -12

Case 1 : α + β = 3 + (-4)

                      = -1 --- [1]

             -b/a  = -1/1

                      = -1 --- [2]

From [1] and [2], we get,

α + β = -b/a

Case 2 : α×β = 3×(-4)

                     = -12 --- [3]

              c/a  = -12/1

                     = -12 --- [4]

From [3] and [4], we get,

α×β = c/a

Hence, verified the realtionship between the zeroes and coefficients of p(x).
