y² - 6y +9

y² - (3 + 3 )y + 9

y² - 3y -3y +9

y(y-3) - 3 (y-3)

(y-3) (y-3)

so much the zero of the polynomial are

(a) y-3=0 (b) y-3=0

y= 3 y = 3
