2x^2-x-6=0
2x²-4x+3x-6=0
2x(x-2)+3(x-2)=0
(x-2)(2x+3)=0
x=2 or
2x+3=0
2x=-3
x=-3/2
f(2)=2(2)²-2-6
=8-2-6
=0
f(-3/2)=2(-3/2)²-(-3/2)-6
=2(9/4)+3/2-6
=9/2+3/2-6
=12/2-6
=6-6
=0
Hence 2 and -3/2 are the zeros of polynomial 2x²-x-6

Solution:

2x²-x-6

=2x²-4x+3x-6

=2x(x-2)+3(x-2)

=(x-2)(2x+3)

=x-2=0

X=2

2x+3=0

2x= -3

X= -3/2
