Answer:-

Given Polynomial => 6x² - 7x - 3 = 0

By splitting the middle term,

→ 6x² - 9x + 2x - 3 = 0

→ 3x(2x - 3) + 1 (2x - 3) = 0

→ (3x + 1)(2x - 3) = 0

→ 3x + 1 = 0

→ 3x = - 1

x = - 1/3

→ 2x - 3 = 0

→ 2x = 3

x = 3/2

Verification:

Let , a = 6 ; b = - 7 ; c = - 3.

We know that,

Sum of the roots = - b/a

→ - 1/3 + 3/2 = - ( - 7)/6

→ (- 2 + 9)/ 6 = 7/6

7/6 = 7/6

Product of the roots = c/a

→ (- 1/3)*(3/2) = - 3/6

- 1/2 = - 1/2

Hence, Verified.

Step-by-step explanation:

6x^2-7x-3

6^x-9x+2x-3

3x(2x-3)+1(2x-3)

(2x-3)(3x+1)

x=3/2 or -1/3

a+B= 3/2-1/3=coffecient of X/coffecient of X^2

=-7/6

aB=3/2x(-1/3)=co of c/co of x^2

=-3/6=-1/2
